How the visa works
Extensions: don’t ruin your half-year
Extensions are filed before the current term expires — with at least 6 working days to spare, and since June 2025 they include a biometrics visit (see our immigration offices guide). Miss the window and the overstay meter runs at IDR 1,000,000 a day. With our support, we track the dates: reminders and early filings.
What the C1 forbids
- !Working for Indonesian companies and any income inside the country
- !Serving local clients or promoting Indonesian brands — immigration treats it as work: the red lines
- !Planning to live and work remotely — the right status is the E33G
