Investor KITAS
The Investor KITAS is the residence permit for business owners in Indonesia: shareholders, directors and commissioners of PT PMA companies. It combines residency with the right to run your own company — no separate work permit required.
The basis is a registered PT PMA and your share in its capital (thresholds depend on your role and the company’s investment plan — typically a personal stake from ~IDR 1 billion with company capital from IDR 10 billion). No company yet? We’ll register one end to end.

Can I take a job at another company on an Investor KITAS?
No — the status covers managing only the company it is issued against. Employment elsewhere requires a Work KITAS from that employer.
What if my stake is below the threshold?
Thresholds depend on role and structure: sometimes a larger stake solves it, sometimes a different position in the company. We’ll assess your case and propose a workable route.
