C1 is the tourist visa for longer trips to Indonesia: it lets you stay up to 180 consecutive days without leaving the country. A natural fit for wintering in Bali, extended travel, or trying life in Indonesia on for size.
The whole process is online — no consulate visit needed, and you can apply from anywhere in the world before you fly.

How it works
Send a passport-spread photo, a personal photo, your marital status, e-mail and a WhatsApp or Telegram contact.
We prepare the service agreement for you to review and sign, then invoice you for the chosen package.

Extending the visa
A C1 visa can be extended twice, 60 days each — up to 180 days in the country without leaving, after which you must exit. Extensions are paid separately; start the process no later than 14 business days before your current visa expires.
What documents does an extension need?
If you arranged the visa yourself, we'll need:
- A full passport-spread photo
- A personal photo
- Your ITK or the entry sticker in your passport
- Marital status
- E-mail and a WhatsApp or Telegram contact
If we issued your visa, your data is already in our system — just message us a photo of the passport sticker, or your entry date if you used the e-gates, and we'll pull up the record and start the extension.
Note: if the passport or entry stamp is damaged (torn, water-damaged, etc.), immigration may refuse the extension — success can't be guaranteed in such cases.
How do I start an extension?
Just write to us. Send a photo of your passport sticker — or your entry date if you passed through the automatic gates — and we'll locate your entry record, load it into your account and create the extension.
How much does an extension cost?
- 2,600,000 IDR — if you apply at least 6 business days before the visa ends
- 3,100,000 IDR — if you apply with less than 6 business days left
- 3,600,000 IDR — for passports valid less than 6 months
- 3,100,000 IDR — for citizens of China, Afghanistan, Israel, Cameroon, Nigeria, Somalia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Syria, Pakistan and Libya
Can the extension be expedited?
Yes. The standard process takes about two weeks; expedited — 5 to 7 business days. It's a paid service, and the final timing depends on the stage at which you request it and the specifics of the extension.
Is biometrics required?
Yes — biometric submission is currently mandatory per Immigration Office requirements.
Frequently asked questions
How is a business visa different from a tourist one?
The difference is the purpose of the trip and what you may do. A tourist visa covers holidays, travel and personal visits; a business visa covers meetings and negotiations.
Note: neither visa grants the right to work or earn income in Indonesia.
Can I get a tourist visa after a business visa?
Yes. Switching visa types is straightforward and usually raises no questions at entry.
Which cities does the visa cover?
The C1 (211A) e-Visa isn't tied to a city — you can enter through any international airport in Indonesia that accepts foreign nationals.
Can minors travel on their own?
Yes, with a notarized parental or guardian consent translated into English. Also check the airline's rules in advance — many won't board an unaccompanied minor.
Why does the choice of agency matter?
When you apply through an agency, a sponsor is assigned to you — all matters of your stay run through them. Changing sponsors is possible but slow and laborious.

Why shouldn't I buy tickets before the visa is issued?
Visas are issued by Indonesian Immigration, and timing depends on their internal processes — delays happen and can't be influenced. It's safer to book flights after the visa is in hand.
Tickets are bought but the visa isn't ready — what now?
You can enter on a Visa on Arrival (VOA). Once the C1 is ready, you'll need to fly out and re-enter on the long-stay visa.
What is overstay and what does it cost?
Overstay means remaining in the country past your visa's limit. Indonesia enforces this strictly: the fine is 1,000,000 IDR per day. Up to 60 days it's paid at the airport on departure; beyond that, additional immigration measures are possible — seek advice early.
