A visa on arrival is extended exactly once, for a further 30 days. It is the most common extension in Bali and the simplest: the application is filed online, and all you do is attend the immigration office once for biometrics.

Our all-in price is IDR 950,000, with the IDR 500,000 government fee already inside. We file the application, pay the fee, handle correspondence with immigration and book your appointment.

After 60 days the usual route is leaving the country. If you would rather not fly, a bridging visa adds 60 days on the spot.

Two deadlines you cannot mix up

  • No earlier than 14 days before the current permit expires — the system will not take it sooner
  • No later than the day the permit expires
  • Processing takes up to 3 working days after payment clears
The detail that matters: overstay does not accrue if payment cleared before the current permit expired, even when the office visit happens later. Pay a few working days ahead, not on the final day.

What we need from you

  • A photo of the full passport spread
  • A personal photo
  • Your ITK or entry sticker — or the entry date, if you used the autogates
  • Marital status
  • Email and a WhatsApp or Telegram contact
If we arranged your visa, your details are already on file — just message us.

Gili, Lombok, Nusa Penida: no need to fly to Bali

Extensions are filed online, so where you are staying does not affect the application. We handle clients on Gili, Lombok and Nusa Penida, and in Jakarta and Surabaya, exactly as we do on Bali.

The only part tied to a location is biometrics: you attend the immigration office that covers your area. Nusa Penida has no office of its own, so people travel to Denpasar. Tell us where you are and we will find the nearest office and book a convenient slot.

How the extension works

We check your case

We look at the visa type, the expiry date and how many extensions you have used, and say straight away if extending is not possible.

We prepare and file

We assemble the package, submit the application, pay the government fees and follow it to a decision.

You attend biometrics

We tell you the office, date and time. The visit takes about half an hour.

You get the approval

The extension arrives as a notification. We set a reminder for the next deadline.

Frequently asked questions

How many times can a visa on arrival be extended?

Once, for 30 days. Total stay on a VOA is therefore 60 days at most: 30 days of the initial permit plus a 30-day extension. There is no second extension on this visa.

How much does an eVOA extension cost?

IDR 950,000 all-in. The government fee of IDR 500,000 is already inside that figure — nothing more to pay at the office.

How early should I file?

No earlier than 14 days before the current permit expires — the system will not accept it sooner. And no later than the day it expires. Processing takes up to 3 working days after payment.

Will I be fined if my office visit falls after the visa expires?

No. Overstay does not accrue as long as payment cleared before the current permit expired, even if the biometrics appointment is later. That is why you should pay a few working days ahead, not on the final day.

Will my passport be held?

The stay permit is electronic, so in the vast majority of cases your passport stays with you — it is only needed at the biometrics appointment itself.

Do I have to visit the immigration office?

Yes, once, for a photo and fingerprints. Biometrics have been mandatory for every extension since June 2025. The application, payment and correspondence are ours.

What happens when the 60 days are up?

Either leave and return on a new visa, or stay and arrange a bridging visa, which adds another 60 days without a flight. If your plans are longer, move to a C1 tourist visa for up to 180 days or to a yearly KITAS.
