Extending is the most common immigration procedure in Bali. Almost every Indonesian visa can be extended, but each has its own ceiling: how many times, for how many days, and up to what total. Getting it wrong is expensive — overstaying costs IDR 1,000,000 per day, per person.
We run the extension end to end: we check your case, prepare and file the paperwork, pay the government fees and watch the deadlines. All you do is show up once at the immigration office for biometrics — that part is required by law and cannot be delegated.

Once the limit is used up, the visa is replaced rather than extended: either leave and re-enter on a new one, or switch status inside the country through a bridging visa.

Count the cost of the time, not the cost of the extension. One C1 extension usually beats a flight out and back, and a yearly KITAS often works out cheaper than four extensions in a row. Not sure which route is cheaper for you — run it through the visa finder.

Biometrics: one visit you cannot skip
Since June 2025 every visa or stay-permit extension requires you to appear in person: a photograph, fingerprints and a short interview. This is an immigration requirement and no agency can do it for you.
Everything else is ours: preparing documents, filing the application, paying fees, tracking the status and collecting the approval. You just turn up on the assigned day.

- A photo of the full passport spread
- A personal photo
- Your ITK or entry sticker — or the entry date, if you came through the autogates
- Marital status
- Email and a WhatsApp or Telegram contact
If we arranged your visa, your data is already on file — just send a photo of the sticker or your entry date. If the passport or entry stamp is damaged, immigration may refuse the extension.
How the extension works
We check your case
We look at the visa type, the expiry date and how many extensions you have already used, and tell you straight away if an extension is not possible.
We prepare and file
We assemble the package, complete the application, pay the government fees and submit it to immigration.
You attend biometrics
We tell you the office, date and time. The visit takes about half an hour.
You get the approval
The extension arrives as a notification. We set a reminder for the next deadline so you never slip into overstay.
When to file, and what overstaying costs
File one to two weeks before your current stay ends. Filing at the last moment is risky: if immigration asks for an extra document, there is no time left to answer.
Overstaying costs IDR 1,000,000 per day, per person, children included. Up to 60 days the fine is usually settled on departure. Beyond 60 days the consequences are heavier: deportation and an entry ban. When you run out of extensions
Once the limit is reached, there are two routes. Leave the country and return on a new visa, or switch status inside Indonesia through a bridging visa: it adds up to 60 days beyond the standard 30+30 on an eVOA and lets you change visa type without leaving.
If you come to Bali regularly, extending in circles is rarely the cheapest option — a multiple-entry D1 or D2 or a yearly KITAS E33G usually works out better.

How much does a Bali visa extension cost?
It depends on the visa: eVOA IDR 950,000, C1 tourist IDR 2,500,000 (3,500,000 rush), C2 business IDR 2,800,000, D1/D2 multiple-entry IDR 2,600,000 (3,100,000 rush), D12 IDR 5,000,000. Can a visa be extended without showing up in person?
No. Since June 2025 biometrics are mandatory for every extension: a photo, fingerprints and a short interview at an immigration office. We handle everything else, but you attend biometrics yourself.
How far in advance should I file?
One to two weeks before the current stay ends. That leaves room if immigration requests an extra document. Filing on the final day does not work — the application will not clear in time.
Will my passport be held during the extension?
Stay permits are electronic now, so in most cases the passport stays with you. If your visa type needs a sticker, we tell you in advance.
What does overstaying a visa in Indonesia cost?
The fine is IDR 1,000,000 per day, per person. Up to 60 days it is usually settled on departure; beyond that, deportation and an entry ban are possible. Message us straight away — the sooner we start, the smaller the amount and the risk.
Can I leave the country while the extension is being processed?
No. While the application is pending you cannot leave Indonesia: departure cancels the procedure, and on a single-entry visa it cancels the visa too.
How many times in a row can I extend?
It depends on the visa: eVOA extends once, C1 and C2 twice, D12 once for 180 days, and a KITAS is extended annually within its own type. When the limit runs out you need to leave or switch status through a bridging visa.
