Business in Indonesia: where it starts
A foreigner can legally own a business in Indonesia through a PT PMA — a foreign-capital company. It grants the right to operate, earn income and hire staff, and serves as the basis for the Investor KITAS — the owner’s residence permit. The key decisions happen at the start: KBLI activity codes (they drive licensing), the ownership structure and the charter capital — mistakes in these three cost far more to fix than to avoid.
We support the full cycle: PT PMA registration (or a Local PT for partner structures), licences, the NPWP tax number, a bank account, retainer accounting — and, when needed, a proper company closure with no loose ends. Still studying the market? For long scouting visits there is the D12 visa — up to 180 days per entry with no company required.
Not sure where to begin — message us on WhatsApp or Telegram: we will unpack your case, suggest the company form, and quote the budget and timeline. The consultation is free.
Everything a company needs in Indonesia, from one team: structure and registration through accounting, owners’ statuses and, when the time comes, a clean wind-down.
