A C1 tourist visa gives 60 days from entry and extends twice by 60 days each — up to 180 days in the country. It is the standard way to spend half a year in Bali without leaving.

Each extension is filed and paid for separately: IDR 2,500,000 over 10 working days, or IDR 3,500,000 in 5–6.

There is no third extension. After that: leave, or move to a KITAS — from a C1 the conversion is direct, with no bridging visa required.

Biometrics are mandatory

Since June 2025 every extension requires you to appear in person: a photograph, fingerprints and a short interview. No agency can do this part for you.

Everything else — documents, filing, fees, status tracking — is ours. Offices in Bali: Denpasar, Ngurah Rai (Jimbaran) and Singaraja.

What we need from you

  • A photo of the full passport spread
  • A personal photo
  • Your ITK or entry sticker — or the entry date, if you used the autogates
  • Marital status
  • Email and a WhatsApp or Telegram contact
If we arranged your visa, your details are already on file — just message us.

Gili, Lombok, Nusa Penida: no need to fly to Bali

Extensions are filed online, so where you are staying does not affect the application. We handle clients on Gili, Lombok and Nusa Penida, and in Jakarta and Surabaya, exactly as we do on Bali.

The only part tied to a location is biometrics: you attend the immigration office that covers your area. Nusa Penida has no office of its own, so people travel to Denpasar. Tell us where you are and we will find the nearest office and book a convenient slot.

How the extension works

We check your case

We look at the visa type, the expiry date and how many extensions you have used, and say straight away if extending is not possible.

We prepare and file

We assemble the package, submit the application, pay the government fees and follow it to a decision.

You attend biometrics

We tell you the office, date and time. The visit takes about half an hour.

You get the approval

The extension arrives as a notification. We set a reminder for the next deadline.

Frequently asked questions

How is C1 different from a 211A visa — are they the same thing?

They are the same visa. 211A is the old designation and C1 is the current one. Both names are still in circulation, so a visa issued as a "211A" extends exactly like a C1.

How many times can a C1 tourist visa be extended?

Twice, 60 days each time. Counting the initial permit, total stay reaches 180 days. After that it cannot be extended — you need to leave or move to another status.

How much does a C1 extension cost?

IDR 2,500,000 with 10 working days of processing, or IDR 3,500,000 for a rush job in 5–6 working days. All-in prices, government fees included. Each of the two extensions is paid for separately.

Do I need a new sponsor if another agency issued the visa?

No, the sponsor does not need to change. We extend visas issued anywhere — send a photo of the sticker in your passport or your entry date and we will find the record.

Can I leave the country while on a C1?

No. C1 is single-entry: leaving cancels it and you cannot return on it. If you travel often, a multiple-entry D1 or D2 fits better.

What happens after 180 days?

Leave and return on a new visa, or move to a KITAS. A useful advantage of C1: conversion to a KITAS E33G runs directly, with no intermediate bridging visa.
