C2 is the visa for business trips to Indonesia: partner negotiations, conferences, market research, sourcing goods. For anyone regularly handling work matters in Bali or Jakarta it opens up to half a year in the country.
Processing is fully online with an Indonesian sponsor — that is us. You can apply before you fly, from abroad.

Frequently asked questions
How is C2 different from the C1 tourist visa?
The purpose: C1 covers holidays and personal visits, C2 covers business activity. The terms are identical: 60 days extendable to 180. Neither permits employment.
Can I get a tourist visa after a C2?
Yes — switching visa types is routine and rarely raises questions at the border.
Can I sign contracts and negotiate on a C2?
Yes — meetings, negotiations, signing documents and attending conferences are all permitted. Employment and earning income inside the country are not.
What if I need to live in Indonesia permanently?
Look at a KITAS: work-based (through an employer) or investor. A C2 converts to a KITAS without leaving — we’ll walk you through it.
