Family KITAS: the Whole Family, Legally
The Family KITAS is a one-year residence permit for spouses and children, based on marriage or kinship with a resident sponsor: a holder of a work or investor KITAS, an E33G, or an Indonesian citizen. The family lives legally under one umbrella, with multiple entries.

Who can sponsor
- ✓A work or investor KITAS holder
- ✓An E33G holder — family KITAS are built into the status
- ✓An Indonesian spouse — for mixed marriages
What it gives — and what it doesn’t
The status gives legal residence for the sponsor’s KITAS term, multiple entries and a calm life without visa runs: school for kids, rentals, everyday matters. What it does not give is the right to work: a family KITAS does not permit employment in Indonesia — a separate work status is required for that.
Documents
