Extending an e-VOA in Bali: step by step
The e-VOA extends exactly once, by exactly 30 days — a 60-day ceiling per entry. The fee is IDR 500,000, filed no earlier than 14 days before expiry and no later than the day itself, processed within 3 working days of payment. Filing is online, but one office visit for the photo is mandatory.

How much you can extend
The visa on arrival gives 30 days and extends exactly once by another 30 — 60 days maximum. There is no second extension at any price.

Through the government portal: a passport scan, a sponsor's guarantee letter if you have one, and a statement of purpose.
The fee is IDR 500,000. From that moment an overstay is off the table.

Which office
Your application goes to the office whose working area covers your address. Bali has five: Denpasar, Ngurah Rai, Singaraja, Tabanan and Klungkung — the last two opened in April 2026.

Yourself or through an agency
The portal is open to everyone and you can technically file yourself. The difference is the cost of a mistake.
